Day 1 :
Day 1 : Delhi: Arrival in the day or in the evening (depending on your flight schedule)
Delhi – Capital city of India, a mixture of modernity and culture, which can be closely watched during visits of old delhi and new Delhi. There is always a remarkable contrast in the two areas, one of which being always overcroweded with people and tourists. New delhi boasts of some of the finest imperial era buildings including Rashtrapati bhawan, Parliament house and India gate. Metro Rail is also a new chapter in the glory of this ancient city, which connects almost every quarter of the city with one another.
Day 2 :
Day 2 : Delhi / Sikendra (Akbar's Tomb) / Agra:
Drive to Agra. En route, visit the tomb of Akbar. Check in to hotel in Agra and visit Agra Fort, one of the finest Mughal forts built by Akbar in 1565 and enlarged by his grand son Shah Jahan style.
Agra & Fatehpur sikri – Agra is a historical city, and was mughal capital of India, which is world famous for its most magnificent building of the world – The Taj mahal. It is a marsterpiece of Mughal architecture, and shows the grand heritage of India. Some other remarkable buildings of Agra include Red Fort, Itamud ud daula, and Mehatab garden. Fatehpur sikri is also a remarkable worth visiting place located about 40 kms from Agra. It is complete city which is now abandoned, and recalls the visitors of the grandeur and splendor of Mughal era.
Day 3 :
Day 3 : Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur:
Early morning visit of the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built at the request of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his beloved wife, its construction has mobilized more than 20,000 workers and artisans around the world. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Departure for Jaipur. One the way, visit the Mughal style town of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival check – in to hotel in Jaipur. In the evening, visit the temple of Lakshmi Narayan.
Day 4 :
Day 4 : Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan founded by the astronomer king Jai Singh II between 1688 and 1743. Visit the Amber Fort and climb the fort on elephant back or foot /or by Jeep. In the afternoon, visit the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and City Palace. Walk in the bazaars of the "Pink City" and discover its historical markets.
Jaipur or more commonly known as pinkcity of India , offers variety of interests to tourists. It has a very good network of hotels, which suits to every pocket, and offers variety of interests including some remarkable monuments like Amber fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and City Palace. There are old city markets, which offer variety of hand crafted items to visitors, and its local delicacies from Street food markets are extraordinary.
Day 5 :
Day 5 : Jaipur / Bundi:
Drive to Bundi. Check in to hotel in Bundi and visit Bundi Palace. By late afternoon, visit the ancient city.
Bundi is small rustic city, which comes often in narration of Rudyard kiplings Stories. There are attractions like Bundi Palace and fortress, with its typical Bundi style paintings known all over Rajasthan. Its different stepwells are also worth visiting.
Day 6 :
Day 6 : Bundi / Chittorgarh / Udaipur:
Drive to Udaipur. En route, visit the Chittorgarh Fort. Check in to hotel in Udaipur. In the evening, explore the traditional dances of Rajasthan Bagore-ki-haveli.
Udaipur is also known as city of lakes, as major parts of the city are concentrated near Lake Pichola and lake fateh sagar. The Udaipur city palace complex is largest palace complex in india comprising of City palace, Fateh prakash palace, Shivniwas palace , Lake palace, and Jagmandir Island. The narrow streets of the old city were cleverly shown in James bond magic film of Octopussy, and still one can experience the old heritage charm of Udaipur strolling in the markets near lake pichola.
Day 7 :
Day 7 : Udaipur:
Udaipur, also known as "The Venice of the East" is the most romantic city of Rajasthan with its many lakes and through its magnificent palaces, including the famous Lake Palace. Visit the City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Day dedicated to the visit of the city and bazaars of the old city of Udaipur. In the evening, boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 8 :
Day 8 : Udaipur / Delhi (By Air):
Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Welcome at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. In the evening, visit India Gate.
Day 9 :
Day 9 : Delhi / Back:
Visit Delhi, capital of India, an ancient, medieval and modern city. Visit of Old Delhi: visit the largest mosque in India, the Jama Masjid, and the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, visit the Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Transfer to the airport for the return flight.
