Jewels of Regal India – A Rajasthan Luxury Tour

8 Nights / 9 days 

Day 1 – Mumbai – Arrival at Mumbai Airport & Welcome

Arrival at Mumbai international airport, either in the morning or evening. You will be welcomed by our local representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Night at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace & Towers or similar

Day 2 – Mumbai :

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the iconic Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea, followed by a short walk to admire the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Continue with an excursion by boat to the remarkable Elephanta Caves, famous for their ancient rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In the afternoon, return to the city and drive along Marine Drive before visiting the fascinating Dhobi Ghat, the largest open-air laundry in the world. The tour continues with a stop at the impressive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO-listed masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture.

Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3 – Mumbai / Udaipur (by flight) :

Morning : After breakfast transfer to Mumbai Airport to catch your flight to Udaipur.

Afternoon: Arrival in Udaipur in the afternoon. Welcome at the airport by our local representative, followed by transfer to your hotel. On the way, enjoy your first glimpses of the “White City,” its elegant palaces and peaceful lakes nestled in the heart of the Aravalli Hills. Check-in at the hotel and free time to rest after your long journey.

Day 4 – Udaipur :

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a visit to the City Palace, a vast palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Built from the 16th century onward, it impresses with its inner courtyards, carved façades, ornate balconies, and refined blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The visit continues with the 17th-century Jagdish Temple, one of the city’s most iconic sanctuaries, renowned for its magnificent sculptures and spiritual atmosphere.

Afternoon: Walk through the lively markets of Udaipur, an excellent opportunity to discover local handicrafts: printed textiles, silver jewelry, miniature paintings, decorative objects, and typical Rajasthani souvenirs.

Late Afternoon: Private boat ride on Lake Pichola, an essential experience in Udaipur. From the water, admire the palaces and ghats lining the lake, including the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir, set against the backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. The experience concludes in a magical atmosphere at sunset, when the fading light makes the waters shimmer.

Day 5 – Udaipur / Jaipur (by flight) :

Morning: After breakfast transfert to Udaipur airport to catch your flight for Jaipur.

Late Morning: On arrival at Jaipur airport welcome by our local representative and transfer to your hotel.

Late Afternoon: Visit to the Laxminarayan Temple and photo stop at the Albert Hall Museum. Built in 1887 during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II as a leisure center for young people, the museum was designed by British architect Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob in Indo-Saracenic style. In the evening, enjoy an Ayurvedic massage before returning to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 6 – Jaipur :

Morning: Departure for a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, located just outside the city. Explore its sumptuous 16th-century palaces, including the renowned Mirror Palace. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Photo stop at the Jal Mahal (Water Palace).

Afternoon: Visit the City Palace, an impressive palace complex in the heart of Jaipur and a fine example of refined Indo-Mughal architecture. Continue to the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), featuring 953 windows overlooking the bustling bazaars.

Late Afternoon: Ride through Jaipur’s historic lanes in an electric rickshaw. A vibrant panorama of spices, shimmering saris, jewelry, and leather goods unfolds before you.

Night at Taj Rambagh Palace or similar

Jour 7 – Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (255 km – approx. 6 hrs drive)

Morning: After breakfast, departure for Agra.

Afternoon: En route, visit the Mughal royal city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore this well-preserved ghost city, once the capital of Emperor Akbar. Visit Jodha Bai’s Palace, the Jama Masjid mosque, and the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.

Late Afternoon: Check-in at the hotel in Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunset, one of the most iconic monuments in the world. Discover the love story that inspired this architectural masterpiece, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Admire the beauty of this white marble mausoleum adorned with precious stones and delicate calligraphy. Evening at leisure.

Night at Oberoi Amar Vilas

Jour 8 – Agra / Delhi (240 km – approx. 5 hrs drive)

Morning: After breakfast, visit the Red Fort, also known as Agra Fort. Explore this imposing red sandstone fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once housed the Mughal emperors. Discover its palaces, mosques, and gardens, while enjoying distant views of the Taj Mahal.

Evening: Visit India Gate, the 42-meter-high triumphal arch built in memory of Indian soldiers who died during the First World War. Located on Rajpath, the monument impresses with its monumental architecture and eternal flame honoring the fallen heroes.

Jour 9 – Delhi & Departure

Morning: After breakfast, depart for a sightseeing tour of India’s capital, Delhi. Begin your visit with the 17th-century Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Then enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk, the historic and commercial heart of Old Delhi since the Mughal era, where bustling markets, spice shops, and centuries-old trading houses create a vibrant atmosphere.

Afternoon: Visit the Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple, an 18th-century marble sanctuary and one of the most important Sikh shrines in Delhi. Discover its impressive community kitchen, which serves daily meals to thousands of pilgrims and visitors. This remarkable institution reflects the Sikh principles of generosity, equality, and service to others.

Continue with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a magnificent Mughal mausoleum that later inspired the architectural design of the Taj Mahal.

Later in the afternoon, explore the Qutub Minar, an impressive red sandstone minaret built in the 12th century and one of the finest examples of early Indo-Islamic architecture from the Delhi Sultanate.

Drive past India Gate, the iconic war memorial built in honor of Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War. In the evening transfer to Delhi international airport to catch your flight back home.

Best time to visit : from October till March

The best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to March, when temperatures are pleasant and ideal for sightseeing, desert excursions, and heritage stays.
April to September is hotter, but the monsoon months (July–September) can offer lush landscapes and attractive off-season advantages.
