Our Story

India Travel etc was not created overnight. It is the natural continuation of a journey that began more than two decades ago.In 2003, in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Kedar began his career in tourism as a hotel receptionist. From the front desk, he observed travelers arriving from across the world — their expectations, their curiosities, their occasional uncertainties. Driven by curiosity and ambition, he enrolled at Alliance Française de Jaipur to study French. Mastering the language opened new doors. He became a licensed tour guide, a role that allowed him to cross the length and breadth of India — from the Himalayan north to the southern coasts, from the deserts of the west to the cultural landscapes of the east. These years on the road shaped his expertise, deepened his cultural insight, and strengthened his operational understanding of the country’s immense diversity.

In 2007, he moved to France to pursue advanced studies in tourism. He earned a Master’s degree from the University of Angers, refining his understanding of European travel markets, distribution channels, and international tourism standards. This dual perspective — Indian by origin and European by academic formation — became the foundation of his entrepreneurial vision.

Together with Meena, he founded India Travel etc in 2012 as a dedicated Destination Management Company for India. What began as a focused DMC has steadily evolved into a respected local tour operator known for professionally designed and operationally reliable travel programs across the country.

From our headquarters in Jaipur, we work closely with international travel agencies and tour operators, providing in-depth destination knowledge, strong supplier relationships, and precise on-ground coordination. Our growth has been organic and partnership-driven, built on consistency, transparency, and operational discipline.

Our team brings together experienced destination specialists, product managers, and carefully selected local partners. Each itinerary is crafted with attention to authenticity, logistical precision, and commercial coherence. Meena – Founder CEO

With a degree of master of History of India, Meena is passionate about the culture of India. After living in France for 5 years, she decided to establish her travel agency in India, a child’s dream Today, she designs India tours for the travellers eager to explore the treasures of India from the most famous to the most unknown.

Kedar – Co-founder and Business Developpement Manager

Originally from Jaipur, Kedar is the co-founder and business development manager at India Travel etc, an Indian travel agency specializing in immersive travel expriences in India.

Following the successful completion of a Master’s degree in tourism from the University of Angers (France) in 2012, he co-established with his wife India Travel etc. Today, he represents India Travel etc at international travel & tourism fairs and manages online marketing activities.

Amélie Perrin – Business Development Consultant for French Market

Amélie, an expert in tourism in France for over a decade. Today she brings her expertise for the developpement of India Travel etc in the french market. Back in 2018, she discovred India and fell in love with its unique culture. She worked for a local NGO based in Pondichery working for deprived women for five years.

Currently, Amélie guides India Travel etc in developing BtoB relations with the french tour operators.

Rajendra – Office Head

Rajendra is the key figure at India Travel etc, coordinating teams and ensuring the smooth execution of each operation of every tour we organize. With 20+ years of experience in travel & tourism, his expertise and operational efficiency guarantee that every trip to India is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed.

Ravindra – Accounts and Booking Manager
