Best time to visit Kerala India : from October till March

The best time to visit Kerala is from October to March, when the climate is pleasant, with moderate temperatures and low humidity, making it ideal for exploring backwaters, hill stations, wildlife reserves, and beaches. This period offers clear skies and comfortable conditions for sightseeing and outdoor activities, particularly in destinations such as Munnar, Alleppey, Wayanad and Mararikulam. The monsoon season, from June to September, transforms the region into a lush green landscape and is especially recommended for Ayurveda and wellness retreats, although travel conditions can be more humid and subject to rainfall. April and May are warmer months, better suited for hill areas like Munnar where the climate remains relatively cooler.
